Quickblade is the brainchild of Jim Terrell, a four time Olympic Canoeist (in fact, he has endless National and International awards and titles). His passion for building the finest competition paddles began at the ripe age of 11 in his father’s garage in Milford, Ohio. To this day, Jim is obsessed with hydrodynamics and has decades of experience with scientifically testing paddle mechanics and strain gage force analysis, and has an extensive background in composite technology applications.

The Toronto Windsurfing Club is located on the waterfront of downtown Toronto next to Cherry Beach on Lake Ontario. We not-for-profit association located in Toronto’s Outer Harbour, managed by volunteer members and dedicated to safe, friendly and enjoyable windsurfing for all members. The Club is graciously providing the use of its beach and facilities for the race.
The mandate of the Ontario Marathon Canoe Kayak Racing Association (OMCKRA) is to develop, promote and represent marathon canoe and kayak racing as a sport in Ontario by: Advising race organizers and competitors; sanctioning races and monitoring safety policy; promoting safety in canoeing and kayaking; encouraging recreational and competitive marathon paddling at provincial, national and international levels.
